Urgent Care LPN

Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-site)
Job Type: Contract / Temporary
Pay:$37.17/hour
Hours: 35 hours/week (clinic hours)
Schedule Notes: Shifts are typically 7-10 hours, usually 2-3 weekdays + every other weekend, and may include some major holidays. 3 weeks of training/orientation required (no time off during that initial period).

Position Summary

As an Urgent Care LPN in a fast-paced outpatient/retail clinic environment, you'll deliver evidence-based patient care-assessing patient needs, administering treatments/medications, documenting in an EMR, and supporting smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and routine health screenings; monitor and document vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Document patient history, care provided, and outcomes in an electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide patient education and support care coordination/resources as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment

Required Qualifications

• Active, full, unrestricted LPN license (in good standing)
• BLS certification (must remain valid beyond start date)
• 1+ year related healthcare experience
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Comfortable working in a patient-facing, on-site setting
• Proficient with EMR systems

Preferred

• Epic EMR experience
