CDL Class B Delivery Driver with Hoisting Licence class 1C

Small family owned and operated businesses; Strafello Precast Inc. and Diaz Construction, are currently looking for an experienced full-time or part time delivery drivers.

Please do not apply if you do not currently have a VALID CLASS 1B HOISTING LICENSE AND CDL B

DUTIES:

- Communicate frequently & efficiently with dispatcher.

- Deliver/ unload & set concrete products and accessories to customers on job sites, safely using a boom truck.

- Responsible for strapping and securing loads on trucks.

- Responsible for daily inspections & cleanliness in and outside of trucks and cranes- report a maintenance problem immediately.

- Maintain professional conduct while out on job sites with customers.

- Assist with maintenance duties around our shop if needed.

REQUIREMENTS: (Concrete Precast Manufacturing experience is a plus but not needed)

• Must obtain a current CDL Class B Driver's License.
• A current 1C Hoisting License is required for boom truck; crane operation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently.
• A good attitude and the ability to work well with others is a must.
• Significant amount of walking, balancing, standing, turning, climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 35-50+ lbs.
• Must be physically capable of strapping/unstrapping load on flatbed trailers and driving trucks for a sustained period of 6-8 hours per day.
• Must understand that this is outdoor work, Monday through Friday, with some work maybe required including Saturdays.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

• Required to wear a hard hat / safety vest & steel-toed boots while loading/unloading trucks in our yard and in the field.
