Job Description Job Description Keystone Industrial Trades is hiring six experienced Industrial Electrical Technicians for an equipment relocation project involving two manufacturing lines. The project will begin with the controlled electrical breakdown of the equipment in Franklin, Kentucky, followed by reinstallation and startup support in Memphis, Tennessee.
This is not general demolition work. All electrical components, wiring, controls, and raceways must be carefully identified, labeled, preserved, and prepared for accurate reinstallation.

Equipment Breakdown - Franklin, Kentucky
- Catalog and label all load-side wiring from control cabinets to field equipment.
- Disconnect wiring and pull cables from control panels to their field termination points.
- Roll, organize, label, and prepare cables for shipment and reinstallation.
- Remove conduit, liquid-tight flexible conduit, cable trays, and troughs while preserving reusable materials.
- Disconnect incoming equipment power feeds and remove associated wiring and conduit drops back to the switchgear.
- Coordinate with the mechanical contractor during machinery breakdown.
- Label and disconnect wiring necessary for equipment to be disassembled and shipped.
- Preserve and clearly identify disconnects, transformers, control panels, and other electrical devices.
- Perform all removal work in a controlled manner to ensure successful reinstallation.
- Reinstall cable trays and troughs over both equipment lines.
- Install new IMC conduit from control panels to cable trays and troughs.
- Install new IMC conduit from cable trays and troughs to field equipment.
- Install new liquid-tight flexible conduit and malleable fittings.
- Reinstall wiring for equipment power, motors, controls, and field devices according to the original cataloging and labeling.
- Terminate motor, control, and equipment wiring.
- Verify proper motor rotation after power is restored.
- Assist with equipment startup and troubleshooting.
- Provide startup support for approximately one week per equipment line.
- Work safely and efficiently with mechanical contractors, project supervisors, and customer personnel.
- Previous industrial electrical or machinery installation experience.
- Experience working with 480V equipment, motors, control panels, and field devices.
- Ability to install and remove IMC conduit, liquid-tight conduit, cable trays, and trough systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial wiring, equipment controls, and motor terminations.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, equipment labels, and wiring documentation.
- Strong attention to detail when cataloging, labeling, and preserving electrical components.
- Ability to troubleshoot wiring and verify motor rotation.
- Willingness and ability to travel between Franklin, Kentucky, and Memphis, Tennessee.
- Ability to work overtime and extended hours when required by the project schedule.
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to follow all jobsite and electrical safety requirements.
- Experience relocating industrial equipment or complete production lines.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery.
- Experience with machinery startup and commissioning.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Electrical license or relevant trade certification.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work from lifts or elevated platforms.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work in active industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Pay: based on experience.
