We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Histotechnologist to join our team in Shady Hills, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a histology laboratory setting and be proficient in performing a variety of histological techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination using various staining techniques
- Embed tissue specimens in paraffin blocks for sectioning
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and precision
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and regulations
- Associate's degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Certification as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist (HT or HTL) preferred
- Experience working in a histology laboratory setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
