Key Responsibilities:

-Read and understand blueprints, drawings and sketches;
-Determine work specifications and calculate required materials;
-Prepare measured layouts which confirms with building code requirements;
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wooden materials, lightweight steel, and other framing material;
-Work with structural skeleton erection, building foundations, installation of floor; beams, erection of walls, placing studs, and roofing work;
-Install doors, stairs, moulding and other hardware, as required by contract;
-Work at various residential renovation and repair contract sites;
-Supervise helper labourers at work sites;
-Any other relevant tasks and duties requested by the manager/ management.
