Job Description: Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Duties:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed
- Safely operate forklifts in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or damages
- Order picking and packing as required
- Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts to safely transport materials within the warehouse

Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Previous experience operating a forklift or similar equipment preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on forklifts
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking purposes
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and long periods of standing or sitting
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts such as hi-lo or lift trucks is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Ability to receive coaching and direction from supervisors and peers.

-Reliable transportation to ensure on time arrival to work every day.

- A total team player! Must be able to work well with others, help out when needed without being asked, look for work that needs to be done rather than wait for direction.
