A growing organization is seeking a Financial Operations Coordinator to support account administration, payment processing, reconciliation activities, and customer account maintenance. This position serves as a key resource for resolving account-related inquiries, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with internal policies and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Process account adjustments, refunds, credits, and related financial transactions in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, account balances, and account activity through various communication channels.
- Coordinate invoicing and payment activities involving external funding sources, contracted payers, or third-party organizations.
- Reconcile account information and assist in resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain documentation, audit support files, and operational procedures related to account administration.
- Monitor compliance requirements and implement process updates as regulations or organizational policies evolve.
- Partner with internal teams to support account accuracy, issue resolution, and a positive customer experience.
- Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in customer service, financial operations, billing, accounting, or administrative support.
- Experience in higher education, financial aid, student accounts, or other customer-focused financial operations environments is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business software systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Experience working with customer accounts, billing operations, financial transactions, or payment processing.
- Experience in a highly regulated environment.
