Pay: $19.50 to $20/hour

Experience: Minimum 1 year of production assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday

HB Staffing is seeking an Electronic Assembler (Soldering/SMT) to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform soldering and desoldering of various-sized components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Conduct both Through-Hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering
• Assemble mechanical and electronic products according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials
• Interpret work orders and communicate effectively with department leads when assistance is needed
• Complete routine and non-routine assembly tasks independently and as part of a team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with selection and procurement of parts and materials as needed

Position Requirements:

• Ability to solder at the component level, including Through-Hole and SMT components
• Experience working with fine-pitch components requiring precise soldering techniques
• Ability to use basic hand tools, including electric screwdrivers, cutters, and pliers
• Knowledge of common electronic and electro-mechanical components
• Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills
• Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices
• Prior or current J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certifications preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
