Electronic Access Control Installer

Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Electronic Access Control Installer for a building materials company in Wichita Falls, TX! This role is essential in ensuring the security and integrity of customers needs through effective access control measures. Candidates must possess a technical background, with experience in access control systems installation and maintenance. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday 7AM - 4PM, but must have availability to work overtime and weekends for installation jobs.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, including Card Readers, Electronic hardware and Video Monitoring Systems

- Conduct field service visits to assess and resolve security system issues.

- Communicate with clients to provide technical support and guidance on access control solutions

- Install cabling for security systems to ensure proper functionality.

- Perform regular inspections of electrical components related to access control systems.

- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls via work orders

- Install Mechanical doors and hardware

- Travelling required at times

Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills for effective telecommunication with clients and team members.

- Experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) is beneficial.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in access control systems installation and maintenance

- Familiarity with computer hardware and networking principles

- Understanding of cabling practices for security installations.

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed for field service operations.

- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.

- Must be able to pass a background check.
