Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and inspecting electromechanical components and finished products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, assembly instructions, and bills of materials.
• Install and connect electrical components, wiring, connectors, switches, motors, sensors, and related hardware.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Solder, crimp, terminate, and route wires and cables as required.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical testing to verify product functionality.
• Inspect assemblies for workmanship, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly, wiring, and component issues.
• Document test results, production activities, and quality issues accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly issues.
• Support continuous improvement activities and recommend improvements to assembly processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, electronics assembly, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assembly issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently while meeting production and quality requirements.
