Electrical Assembler II

The Electrical Assembler II is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and modifying electronic and electromechanical assemblies. This role involves working with wire harnesses, cables, soldering, molding, adhesives, and other electrical components while following detailed drawings, specifications, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electrical and electromechanical products.
  • Use hand tools, torque wrenches, crimping tools, calipers, and other assembly equipment.
  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Perform inspections and ensure compliance with ESD and quality requirements.
  • Verify materials, equipment calibration, and component specifications before use.
  • Support continuous improvement through Lean and 6S practices.
  • Participate in training and maintain required certifications.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of electrical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • IPC-610 and IPC-620 certifications (or equivalent) required.
  • J-STD-001 certification required for soldering roles.
  • Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
