We are seeking an experienced, on-site experienced Draftsman to join our growing team based in our Mineola, New York (Nassau County) shop & office.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

Develop and present accurate and complete shop drawings and specifications based on architectural plans

Quickly identify inconsistencies/problems in plans (i.e., field conditions differ from architectural drawings), and effectively confer with architects to formulate solutions

Work closely with Project Management, and Shop teams to ensure job runs smoothly.

Assist project manager to resolve client grievances or concerns

Essential skills/requirements:

Minimum five-years' experience in high-end residential millwork required

Excellent conceptual, managerial, and oral/written communication skills

Strong attention to detail, and highly organized

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Desire to further personal experience/development in the field

Proficient in AutoCAD (minimum five-year experience)

Thorough understanding of wood products and hardware

Understanding and providing material take-offs

Proficiency in math

Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
