Director, Loss Prevention

Loss Prevention Investigator / Asset Protection Analyst Location: Torrance, CA Schedule: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days in office per week) Travel: Approximately 1 week per month (typically 2-3 days at a time) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Loss Prevention Investigator / Asset Protection Analyst to help safeguard company cash and inventory assets across a growing network of branch locations. This role will focus on identifying potential risks, investigating irregularities, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring accountability across cash collection and inventory management operations. With approximately $135M in annual cash collections and $100M in machine and parts inventory managed annually, this position plays a critical role in protecting company assets and supporting operational integrity across multiple locations in the U.S. and Canada. Key Responsibilities Analyze cash collection data and operational trends to identify suspicious activity, unusual variances, and potential loss prevention risks. Conduct investigations involving cash handling procedures, collection routes, personnel, gaming machines, and branch operations, coordinating with third-party investigators and audit teams as needed. Evaluate and enhance the overall cash control environment by identifying process gaps and recommending practical improvements to reduce risk and improve accountability. Lead and support inventory control initiatives, including cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, routine audits, and compliance reviews across multiple branch locations. Partner with branch leadership and operational teams across 37 locations to strengthen controls, ensure policy compliance, and protect company assets through proactive risk management. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Internal Audit, Investigations, Inventory Control, or a related field. Experience analyzing financial, inventory, or operational data to identify trends and investigate discrepancies. Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements across multiple locations. Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools. Willingness to travel regularly to branch locations throughout North America. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing cash-intensive operations. Background in inventory controls, audit, compliance, or fraud investigations. Experience working with distributed branch networks or multi-site operations. Why Join Us?
