Job Summary

A manufacturing company is hiring a Dimensional QC Inspector to check parts and products for accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate will know how to read blueprints and use measuring tools.


Job Duties

  • Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components to ensure quality and specification compliance.
  • Utilize precision inspection equipment, including CMMs, optical comparators, laser scanners, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to verify dimensional and manufacturing accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed inspection documentation, verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and identify, document, and isolate nonconforming materials.
  • Work with production employees to correct quality issues.
  • Keep inspection tools and records organized.
  • Follow company safety and quality procedures.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, with technical or vocational training preferred
  • Attention to detail. time management. and computer literacy (ERP or inventory software)
  • Typically requires 2+ years in precision manufacturing. aerospace. or machining quality environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude. mathematical proficiency. and deep knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001


Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
