Job Description Job Description Purpose:
The Merchandise Processor in the Retail Department is an entry-level position that is responsible for the manual support of handling merchandise through the shipping process by consistent loading of direct or retail merchandise, promotional store sets, and store supplies onto semi-trailers.
The Merchandise Processor is also responsible for inducting merchandise onto the direct shipping sorter.

Core Accountabilities:
- Able to lift, stack and load merchandise cartons onto and off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets, etc.
- Pull open damaged box/bag from chute and set aside on floor for further inspection
- Pull and stack boxes from retail no read line or induction return line
- Able to comprehend, in English, number and/or letter sequences
- Able to pay attention to detail
- Able to remain flexible to change and willing to move around to other areas within Distribution Center
- Must be detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Must be able to achieve at least 75% of productivity goal
- Responsible for tracking individual production
- Able to work independently or as part of a team

Education/Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Some distribution experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Able to type on keyboard and view and read details on a computer monitor
- Able to operate warehouse management system (WMS), radio frequency scanners and other equipment to perform job duties.
- Able to stand and walk for 8-10 hours continuously on concrete floors
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to climb, bend, stretch, talk, hear, push/pull, squat, twist, turn, stoop and use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms to reach above shoulder/head level and/or overhead
- Able to lift over 50lbs on a continual basis and display safe working behaviors
- Able to read, in some cases small print, numbers and letters and identify colors - Able to communicate with co-workers and supervisory staff Position

Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring regular attendance and punctuality which includes a work week consisting of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. As a Merchandise Processor, weekend work is required as well as mandatory over time during periods of high volume. This role operates in a warehouse environment subject to inside environmental conditions with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes and subject to loud noise due to conveyor systems and material handling equipment and routinely uses standard personal protective equipment.

2:00PM- 10:30PM
3rd shift
Sunday-Thursday
10:00PM-6:30AM
