Construction Work Planner for Black & McDonald

Join Black & McDonald's innovative Power Generation team as a Construction Work Planner based in Pickering. Bring your expertise in project planning and execution to support various contracts and ensure project success. As a Construction Work Planner, you will report to the CWP Supervisor and focus on creating planned work orders in the work management system. Your responsibilities will include interpreting design documents, preparing inspection plans, and collaborating with Project Managers. Ensure the smooth delivery of work packages and support other stakeholders as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Create planned work orders for project activities • Interpret design documents and prepare inspection plans • Collaborate with Project Managers to evaluate and direct projects • Conduct analysis to determine project duration and interdependencies • Write detailed work instructions for field implementation Requirements: • 8 years of related project experience • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant diploma • Experience in planning work packages • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and civil work • Strong communication skills and computer literacy Utilize your planning and organizational skills to make a meaningful impact at Black & McDonald's Power Generation team.
