Commercial Electrician

Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Outsource is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team supporting projects in Simi Valley, California. This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on commercial electrical experience and the ability to work independently on a variety of job sites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, switches, and lighting fixtures
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a commercial electrician
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
• Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• Skilled in installing and troubleshooting electrical panels, conduit, and wiring systems
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $30.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and project requirements
