About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL B Hazmat Truck Driver for local delivery routes in the Arlington and Grand Prairie area. This on-site, temp-to-perm opportunity involves delivering concrete pipe, operating a box truck, and returning home nightly.

Pay & Schedule

• $28 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,200
• 40 hours per week
• Daily schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Local routes with home-daily scheduling
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery

• Handling: Heavy-touch freight, unloading, and some tarping

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck on local delivery routes originating in Arlington, TX.
• Safely transport and deliver concrete pipe throughout the Arlington and Grand Prairie area.
• Unload freight using an electric pallet jack.
• Handle freight as needed and complete required tarping.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B.
• 3 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement or qualification.
• Electric pallet jack experience.
• Ability to perform heavy-touch freight handling and some tarping.
• Residence in the Arlington or Grand Prairie area.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
