TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Port Driver to support local operations in Newark, New Jersey. This dedicated position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule
  • Pay: $30 per hour
  • Sign-on bonus: $1,500, paid at 30, 60, and 90 days
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Start time: 6:00 a.m.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Home daily
  • Employment type: Dedicated
  • Start date: August 24, 2026
Job Details
  • Route type: Local delivery, including New York deliveries
  • Freight handling: No-touch

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate equipment on local routes.
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role.
Minimum Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license.
  • 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
  • Valid TWIC card.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
