About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Switcher and Yard Dog to support local operations in Johnson City, Tennessee. This is an on-site, temp-to-permanent opportunity focused on safely moving equipment within the yard and supporting local operations.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $23.15 per hour
• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Temp to permanent
• Anticipated start date: September 14, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Local spotter and yard dog
• Freight: Sewage
• Handling: No touch
• Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on local routes and within the yard.
• Transport sewage in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Meet the physical demands of the role as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
