As EHS Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
Coaching, training, mentoring employees
Ensuring plant and chemical safety
Performing risk analysis
Meeting/maintaining regulations
Preparing and maintaining safety documents for policies and procedures
Ensuring ISO 14001 compliance
Leading safety meetings and training
Leading emergency response and action plan
Maintaining safety data sheets
Ensuring proper PPE throughout the plant
Ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance and making any necessary changes
Leading chemical inventory
Performing ergonomic and hazard assessments and making recommendations
Ensuring safe disposal of hazardous substances
Making improvements on machine safeguards, fire regulations, noise, etc.

To be considered for the Assistant EHS Manager position you must have:
Previous EHS experience in a manufacturing
Experience maintaining ISO 14001
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
