A&P Mechanic - Aircraft Maintenance

We're hiring one full-time A&P Mechanics in Augusta, Kansas - 1st Shift (8:00am-5:00pm). If you're looking for steady work, a tight-knit team, and growth opportunities, this is it!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team and supervisor to perform inspections, maintenance, annuals, unscheduled maintenance and repairs on single engine and muti engine.
- Assist in engine inspections and routine maintenance.
- Assist in structural repairs and modifications.
- Use standard and specialized tools for aircraft maintenance.
- Assist in the installation of avionics components.
- Assist in aircraft jacking and towing operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and ensure FAA compliance.
- Document maintenance actions according to regulatory and organizational standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance environment.
Requirements:
- Active Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License - required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass background check, drug test, and fingerprinting.
- Candidates with Cessna 100 series/400 series experience highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer aptitude required.
Nice to Have:
- Recent aviation program graduates or those with a few years of maintenance experience.
- Experience with piston, general aviation, Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft and Mooney.
- Easy-going personality and strong teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
- Frequent exposure to general shop conditions, engine noise.
- Frequent exposure to aircraft exhaust, moving mechanical parts, lubricants, metals, and solvents.
- Frequent exposure to seasonal weather.
